Privacy Policy and terms and conditions


We do not share your data with third parties. All data collected is used only by us to fulfil your order and contact you for logistical reason only. The only exception to this is if you have specifically opted in to receive email or text message offers. 

We will retain your personal data only for as long as we need it for our legitimate interest in accordance with applicable law, after such time, we will either delete or anonymize your information or, if this is not possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information and isolate it from any further use until deletion is possible.

Marketing information: If you have elected to receive marketing emails from us, we will retain information about your marketing preferences for three years from the date that you last express interest in our products and services, such as when you last open an email from us. We will retain information derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for 13 months from the date such information was created.


 

Payment

We accept only cash payment.
The website is owned and operated by Southern Fried Chicken 609 Gorton Road, Reddish, Stockport, SK5 6NX.
The purpose of the website is to provide a simple and convenient service to our Southern Fried Chicken customers. Our online menus allow customers to build and submit orders online.
 
By placing an order through the Websites, you warrant that:
you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract; and
you are at least 18 years old.
By placing and order you will be presented with a thank you page. You will also receive an email detailing the order. Please note the order is to be considered accepted after an email advising on delivery times or a phone call from us.
Please make sure the email address and phone number you provide us is correct and your mailbox is in proper working order, as all correspondence regarding your order is sent to this address.
Availability: As all of our products are made fresh to order, it is possible that we might run out of stock from time to time. Whilst we will make every effort to remove these out of stock items from our website as soon as possible we may need to substitute part of your order for something of equal or greater value. We apologise if this happens and if you have any issues with your substitution please contact us. 
Allergy sufferers & vegetarians: We don’t use nuts in our products, but some ingredients are made in factories that handle nuts. As we don’t have a separate nut-free or vegetarian preparation or cooking areas, if you have a nut or any other allergy or are a vegetarian we recommend that you do not order online. We can cater better for your allergies and preferences if you visit us in-store. 
 

DELIVERY

Delivery times: We try our best to make sure that you get your order within 40 minutes of placing it. It’s important that you remain at the delivery address you’ve given us to receive your order. If you’re not in to receive your order the delivery driver may try to call you and we are not able to refund for delivery orders as all our food is freshly cooked and we can’t resell it.

Delivery fees: We currently charge £1.50 for delivery. We may choose to vary these fees in the future, but these will be itemised in your basket before you checkout.

Delays: Sometimes there may be reasons outside of our control that mean we can’t deliver your order within our targeted delivery time. In the rare event that delivery is seriously delayed we may have to cancel your order. We will of course notify you of this.

Delivery drivers: Delivery drivers will only deliver to the main door/reception when delivering to apartment blocks, flats or hotels, so please make sure you come to meet them there and accept only cash payment.

Please be nice to your delivery driver. We reserve the right to blacklist any delivery address if any delivery driver reports aggressive or abusive behaviour towards them.

COMPLAINTS

If you are unhappy with the service you have received, please contact us and we will do our best to get to the bottom of what happened and why.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page. Please check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you.​
